Salisbury Plain

Salisbury Plain is an area of much diversity. A barren and mysterious plateau of 300 square miles, it is the location of a world-famous heritage site, Stonehenge, and training ground of the British Army. Besides this, it is an area of great interest for nature lovers and was an introduction site for a formerly extinct bird, the Great Bustard. Visitors can go “on safari” to seek out nature, and thrill seekers can even book an off-road experience.
